Liza Seymour is a Raleigh-based realtor with Compass, helping buyers and sellers find their place throughout Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and the greater Triangle area. A North Carolina native, Liza knows this area is about so much more than finding a house. It’s about finding your people, your community, and a place that fits the life you want to live.
Liza made the move to real estate full-time after a 10 year career in corporate executive roles in the retail and cosmetics industries. Real estate was a natural fit, thanks in part to growing up around her dad’s custom homebuilding business and developing an early appreciation for homes, land, and everything that goes into finding or building the right one. Today, she brings that experience together with a relationship-first approach and a genuine passion for helping people navigate one of life’s biggest decisions.
Horses have been part of Liza’s story since childhood. Growing up riding alongside her parents and sister, she competed in the Hunter division and traveled to shows throughout North and South Carolina. After some time away from the saddle, she found her way back to the barn, and that familiar love for horses came right back with her. These days, she gets to share that passion with her kids at the stables.
Joining Compass Equestrian feels like a natural extension of both Liza’s professional world and personal life. She understands that equestrian real estate is about more than square footage or acreage. It’s about the lifestyle, the land, the horses, and finding a property that supports the things you love most. Whether helping clients relocate to the Triangle, find their next home, or explore a property with equestrian potential, Liza brings local knowledge, a trusted network, and a personal understanding of what makes these properties special.
When she’s not working, Liza feels pretty lucky to have her family all in the same city and loves making the most of time together. You’ll likely find her at the barn with her daughter, soaking up horse time, taking her doodle pup out for a run, or planning her next concert night. And if there’s good live music in town? She probably already has tickets.
